"Meticulous, patient, and accommodating"
I am thrilled to recommend Kelsey, who played an integral role in developing a crucial database for our key client. From the outset, Kelsey demonstrated a remarkable grasp of the project requirements and exhibited exceptional skills in navigating the complexities of our needs. Her ability to quickly understand and address how the system should function was truly impressive.
Throughout the project, which involved extensive collaboration, Kelsey remained meticulous, patient, and accommodating. She was always willing to engage in discussions, addressing my numerous inquiries with a positive attitude and integrating my suggestions with ease, even when it might have been more straightforward to stick to email communications. Kelsey’s dedication was evident in every interaction, ensuring the database exceeded both my needs and our client’s expectations.
The database Kelsey developed has become an indispensable tool for me. It is not only user-friendly and comprehensive, it also reflects Kelsey's creative touch, incorporating elements of humor that make it a pleasure to use. Her expertise in user experience is exceptional, and I wholeheartedly endorse her for any project requiring a skilled and insightful professional.

"Strong choice for any product design team"
Kelsey has been a pleasure to work with and guide in her UX-UI journey. She is kind, open to criticism, creative and focused on her users. Her ability to take criticism and use it to create strong UX-UI work from research to design is quite good. Her visual design work is above par and hiring managers in the Springboard program consistently gave her case studies high marks. In addition, her ability to communicate and work well with others make her a strong choice for any product design team!

"Constantly exceeded all reasonable expectations"
How can one brain generate this much creativity while being this efficient and organized? In the rare instance when this confluence does occur, there’s just no way the person connected to that brain is also endlessly patient, genuinely kind, deeply ethical, and a joy to be around; unless that person is Kelsey Wirtzfeld. I worked with Kelsey at Reed College for almost 18 years, during which time we each held a variety of roles. Kelsey always showed up ready and willing to roll up her sleeves to create and contribute.
She consistently pulled more than her weight across a vast array of projects and sometimes under considerable duress. Even as she constantly exceeded all reasonable expectations, her humility and commitment to quiet competence sometimes belied Kelsey’s exceptional abilities. I would recommend Kelsey for any role she aspires to, and can’t wait to see what she does next!

"Great liaison and translator"
When I worked with Kelsey on technology issues/requests it was always a breeze. She was a great liaison and translator between folks who needed a technology solution and our IT folks/programmers. She was really great at understanding what I needed, translating it to the programmers and then coming back and helping me understand the possibilities and limitations. She was great at really listening to my needs and helping me get the best possible solution.

"Incredibly versatile"
"Incredibly versatile" is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Kelsey. I worked with her over the course of about 10 years, collaborating on various IT and data issues during 7 of those years. I provided technical support to admin staff at a college.
Everyone was pretty nice to me while in that role - it makes sense you'd want to have a good working relationship with your "go-to" guy. But I noticed Kelsey treated me with kindness and respect even before I had that position, even when I had nothing to offer her. For that reason she always stood out as one of the "good ones."
As the primary support contact for a large group of people, I saw my fair share of stress and meltdowns - totally understandable. But Kelsey never lost her cool in the face of technical disasters over all those years, and she was responsible for the success of entire departments that included high-ranking college officers. In fact, she had a way of bringing humor and lightness to those stress-saturated environments in which she worked.
Kelsey is someone you can count on to get things done on time. I witnessed this repeatedly as she worked in several roles and offices over the years. She is a talented problem solver, a solid, competent technologist and someone you just like to be around. I always appreciated her proactive, carefully planned approach. I think of her ultimately as a creative talent, who also has the technical acumen and organization ability to push any size project across the finish line.
Any team would be lucky to have Kelsey as a contributor. She's incredibly versatile, with the right combination of creativity, technical ability and warm personality that make a team successful.
